Sorry, but I don't have very good news for you ...
Laptops especially contain specialized hardware for which, for full functionality, specialized drivers are required -- and these come ONLY from the OEM, in this case, HP. Your PC came preinstalled with Windows 10. If you remove or overwrite the original Win10 on your PC with Win 7, you are going to encounter serious problems as there are no HP Win7 drivers for the new hardware that comes with new machines.
MS supplies drivers that provide only basic functionality. This means that some of the hardware functionality is likely NOT to work if you force a downgrade. That includes functions like the touchpad, WiFi, switchable graphics, USB ports -- to name the functions commonly reported here.
That said, someone else might come along and point you to Win7 drivers for other model PCs that that will work with yours -- but if that does not happen, you will then be stuck with a PC with limited functionality as HP is not writing Win7 drivers for their new Win10 PCs.
-------------------------------------------
If you want full functionality for the machine, you need to retain its original preinstalled OS version.
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP

Hi, @hapiearora
Why didn't you answer my question?
I can't help you unless I have some basic info regarding the processor model your notebook comes with.
There are some issues you would have to overcome with the 7th gen core processors, for which Intel didn't develop any graphics drivers for example.
...and because there are only W10 graphics drivers for models with the 7th gen core processors, that is why there are only W10 drivers.
But some person figured out how to modify a W10 driver to work on W7.
I don't know if it will work on your specific notebook if it has a 7th gen core processor, but I am not going to go through a lot of work when I don't have the info I need to help.

Just know that you will never receive any Windows 7 updates if you persist in installing Windows 7 on this laptop.

Hi, @hapiearora
I have already advised you what info I need...
What model Intel processor does it have? 6th generation, core, 7th generation core, Celeron, or Pentium.
Also, if it has an Intel 3168 AC wifi adapter, no one with a 250 G6 has been able to get that adapter to work with the W7 driver.

If I were you, I would just run W10 on it.

Before to delete anything win10, go to device manager and expand all the drivers you need (network, video, wireless, ect). Take some pictures for later refrence.
go to setup (Bois) and enable the boot option and devcie legcey. It is give a message, maybe the boot PC won't work and ignore it.
Now you can use the boot device at start up PC by F9 and boot from CD and install WIn7 32 0r 64 bit. I did it and it worked. You need delete all partitions, because the partition with GBR won't work with win7.
Now use the pictures and go to manifacturing devices and download you drivers. Burn on CD and put in your laptop. you need USB3 driver also, because, otherwise your USB ports won't work also. Your life line is CD. Good luck.
