How to bypass the administrator password on laptop or power on password

I bought a laptop from my sister. She did a factory reset on the laptop. So when I got it I put in my info but I've forgotten the password. Now the computer wants a administrator password or power on password and I can't remember what password i used. Is there a way to bypass this ? Thanks

NO -- there is not, since if there was, there would be no point if having admin passwords.
