Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I want to ask: I have a HP Elite 7000 Microtower PC (VN882#AKR), with preinstalled "Win 7 downgraded to XP Pro" and I have got a Win 7 Pro OA HP P. Key. I wanted to make recovery disk before reformatting, but i haven t found any recovery manager, or anything else. I tried to just copy recovery partition to the disk, but it doesn t work. Plz does anybody know, how I can make a recovery disk without recovery manager (or rec. USB)? Thanx.

Assuming the Recovery Partition has Windows 7 in it and that is still good, I searched for the Recovery Manager software and found it in a couple places.  I know nothing about either of these siurces

Assuming that will allow the making of the Recovery Disk set or USB.  Posted back if that does not solve the problem.

BTW:  if you have the Windows 7 Pro key and the PC was originally Windows 7 Pro, you should be able to also use Windows 7 Pro install media and use the drivers from the driver support page.  It will be more work but an alternative.
