Place the cursor at the beginning of the text or image to be copied, using the touchpad on the laptop. Press and hold the left click button of the touchpad, then slide a finger over the touchpad to highlight the text for copying. Release the left click button when finished highlighting a section for copying. Press the right click button and use the touchpad to highlight "Copy" or "Cut" from the dropdown menu that appears. To paste tap the right button, select ‘Paste’, and then either double tap the pad or tap the left button.
Alternately, after highlighting the text tap ctrl and C keys. Place cursor in location and tap ctrl and V keys
