Hi,
I suppose you installed Windows 8.1 in legacy BIOS setting
For seeing OEM logo, I think you must reinstall Windows in HP UEFI environment.
This is your Support page listing drivers for Windows 8.1 x64
Download, save & install the UEFI :
HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI
| 5.7.2.0 Rev.A | 15.9 MB | May 22, 2015 | Download |
File name: sp70869.exe Release details Released: Mar 31, 2015 Version 5.7.2.0 Rev.A |
Then you may have to reinstall Windows 8.1 x64 using UEFI bootable media .
Then follow this to clean install: How to Install Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 using the "Unified Extensible Firmware Interface" (UEFI)

That's weird. Manufacturer's logo should be shown instead of Windows logo on start up first, if you've UEFI interface installed and Windows installed using UEFI bootable media.
I've no other idea unfortunately

Hi VIsruth,
I trird installing the OS again, this time I made my USB device GEP partition enabled, for UEFI enabled computers and tried installing windows 8.1. This time it worked, I can see the OEM logo in the place of windows logi at the time of booting.
Thanks for the helping me.
