Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi,

I wanted to do a format for my old laptop but the problem is it cannot log in to windows. because the windows has crashed due to lack of drivers inside. Plus i do not have any preparation disc for re install windows but i have done back up files.

So now what should i do?

I want to use back that laptop.

@WexyMaxy

First off, you don't format a LAPTOP; instead, you format the Hard Drive it contains -- and doing that erases everything on it.

Second, you can not do that from INSIDE Windows; instead, you have to boot using a USB stick (or DVD if older PC) and format the drive that way.  But even then, you end up with a blank drive with nothing on it -- which does not fix anything!

Third, Windows does not crash due to lack of drivers, because it won't even boot or run if it does not have the proper drivers.  So if it was running OK and crashed, that was due to something else.

You need to tell us HOW it crashed in some detail before you charge in and reformat the drive.

Sorry if these will make you bored.

I will write down the chronology of its life.

1. Year 2012 i bought it and it's okay till 2014 it got damaged due to my arrogant act and blue screen appeared ( i played a heavy game until the mother board got damaged and chipset burnt)

2. I sent to laptop repair shop and they charged me little by little and getting bigger in number of losing money.

3. I got back the laptop but the shop owner was a devil person, he broke the keyboard part intentionally just wanna me adding up money to him. So, i cannot use the keyboard anymore. Since then, i am scared to send my laptop to any other shop for repair because i was cheated by them before.

4. 3 or 4 months after that, my laptop got infected by malware so i had to sent it to repair shop (but this time is different shop than before). They said they need to format and reinstall windows and drivers. then, i said YES OK PLEASE DO IT. when i bring my laptop home, i see i can do work using microsoft words and i thought my laptop was OKAY. but actually it has not enough drivers inside.

4. In year 2016 i saw Microsoft made an advertisement saying that, they had a free upgrading Windows to Windows 10. And i was so happy and without thinking more, i clicked download from their webpage and the download process was succeed. But.... when i clicked install, suddenly half way stucked. And came out words, you dont have enough drivers.

5. until now everytime i turn it on the screen will show these pictures below.

So, now, i dont know what the problem is....

Please... help me....
