Please how do I enable disk controller on my HP 650 bios menu? 

I can't find it here.

Any disk controller is enabled BY DEFAULT.  If it was NOT, then the PC could not boot from any internal drive.

 

So, I don't understand why you are messing with disk controller settings.

Actually, I want to install a new window on my new hard disk and its telling me 'windows cannot be installed on this drive, please enable disk controller in BIOS setup'.

OK ... then it's a fault with the media or with your configuration.

 

How old is the PC and what OS version came preloaded?

My PC is very old, it's been 7 years since I've been using it. 

Windows 7 came preloaded and I want to install windows 10 on my new hard  disk
