I can’t seem to factory reset my laptop by clicking the power button and F11 button. When I try it says that I need a disk or flash drive. Has anyone else had this problem and have been able to figure it out? I need it for work but it’s extremely slow. There’s nothing on it that I need nor want.

Hi:
Your notebook should be supported by the HP cloud recovery tool which you can use to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
Here is an info link for how to use that utility...you will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.

If that doesn't work, you can always clean install W10 by making a bootable USB installer with the media creation tool from the link below.
Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
When you get to the part of the installation that asks 'Where do you want to install Windows,' delete every partition on the hard drive, leaving just one partition of unallocated space.
Click Next, and W10 will install.
After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
