Hi there , so i am thinking of buying an HP Omen device .. and i noticed that those devices have kind of customized windows .. (different boot logo .. wallpaper .. etc).. and i like that .. but also i am the kind of person who formats his device casually .. and here comes the problem .. am not sure if i could get those customized stuff back after format.. is it possible to have a back up of that customized image that comes with the laptop ?.. can i order it from hp support after getting the device serial number ? .. i mean this iso image has to be a thing .. because anyone will probably format their devices at some point right ?
.. Or at least if i used a normal windows image am i guaranteed to be able to download every (driver.. wallpaper.. program etc) that was on the original device ?
P.S. sorry if my English is bad

You're very welcome.
If the device indeed has W10, there is a cloud recovery tool that would reset the PC to its factory settings.
Here is an info link for how to use that utility...

You can check if your PC is supported by the cloud recovery tool at the link below...

You would need to know the full product number.
I only know the first part of it, not the last 3 characters after the # sign.

Hi:
That particular model comes with FreeDOS, not W10.
https://www8.hp.com/il/en/laptops/product-details/product-specifications/29997599
You would have to purchase a license for W10, and while there is a support page for that model series, it won't have any of the wallpaper or custom logos and whatnot.

Hi thanks for your answer
So you are saying that there is no way to get those custom things from the internet ( hp support ) ... got it ..
But is there a way to back them up from the laptop itself before the format .. is there certain files to copy or something like that .
Also this is an important related question .. if i did factory reset from windows 10 settings .. will the boot logo and those stuff go away .
or are they part of windows image so they'll stay
because if that's true then my porblem is solved
and again thanks for answering

You're very welcome.
As I indicated, the notebook came with FreeDOS, so there won't be any logos or anything supplied with the PC as it comes.
Pretty much a bank screen and a command prompt.
So there is no W10 operating system on there to do a factory reset from.
The support page has drivers and some software, but it wont have any of the custom images or wallpaper.
I suggest you buy a model that comes with W10 from HP.
