Problem Description: I am a Windows 10 Pro Insider and have been for about 10 years. My computer came with Windows 10 Home, and I am currently running Windows 10Pro Insider and I am getting Activate Windows. When I try to activate, I get that either I have a digital License for Windows 10 Home or sometimes I get that Trouble shooter says that it can't connect to my organization's activation server. This is a personal computer used by me for gaming. I have tried to run the recovery program under the Bios and it restores Windows 10 Pro.

Hi:

The W10 Home OEM product key is in the BIOS.

You can use the free utility that I zipped up and attached below to see the OEM key.

If worse comes to worse, you can either see if the HP cloud recovery tool works for your model PC.

Here is an info link for how to use that utility...

Or you can clean install W10 Home by making bootable installation media using the media creation tool at the link below.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.

It appears the worse to worse option is my choice.  Thank you for your help Paul, I appreciate it and responding to the issue quickly.  Going out to purchase 2 64gig flash drives to create a factory restore from cloud.  Thanks again.
