Hello everyone!
I have a big trouble with install Ubuntu 18.04 on my laptop HP Pavilion Power 15. I recorded the Ubuntu image on the USB flash drive with 3 different programs: Universal USB Installer, LinuxLive USB Creator and UltraISO. In UEFI, I disabled Secure Boot and the first section is USB Diskete on key / USB Hard Disk. When I boot the flash drive, either I show the Ubuntu logo and hangs, or in the live mode it loads the desktop and hangs. Also I coudn't install an older Ubuntu OS.
P.S. But in my PC I haven't a trouble with install Ubuntu.
Thanks,
Nikita

Hi
You can install Linux alongside Windows if you want to.
For Ubuntu, USE SECURE BOOT, and I assume since you have tried 3 different proggies, the .iso file expanded cleanly?
The USB port can matter.
Use USB 2 rather than USB 3.
Try the Port Side Port (Left Hand) if possible.
If in doubt please ask.
