In order to find/get that info, the model number of the laptop is needed.  You can do this yourself by going to the support page.  At the top of this forum is a link to the support site.  Click on that, wait for the support home page, click on the title "Let HP detect your product" - might have to scroll down abit, depending on your screen's  viewing resolution.

Then proceed to the manual for that model.  If it has a built in card reader, it will show the location and how the replace it.
