Hi, I purchased an ITB NVMe PCIe SSD from Samsung. Can someone give me a step-by-step procedure for installing Windows 10 OS on it?  The Notebook came with a preloaded OS.  Can I reinstall the same preloaded one?  If so how?

HP Cloud Recovery tool can restore the storage drive to a factory state, but the tool is not supported for your notebook which is 7-8 years old.

 

You can use Microsoft Media Creation tool to install W10 on a new M.2 SSD. This video tutorial may be of help.

Your product key is stored in the BIOS, and when you install W10 and go online, the product key will be automatically activated.
