Hi,

Is there an easy way for me to locate the feature byte and build ID of HP devices from the HP website or the Partner portal?

Regards,

You can sometimes find it by using Serial number at Partsufer:

Hi Cheryl,

Thanks for your reply. I have tried using PartSurfer to search for FeatureByte information using a serial number. But it does not appear to provide that information. Only individual part information.

Not sure why it doesn't work for you. I just tried it again and got Build ID and Img_desc 1 and 2.

Thanks anyway Cheryl - No idea why it does not work for me. I am searching via Serial Number, not sure if that makes a difference. I'll dig around and see if I can find it.
