I Installed Windows 10 OS manually now I'm unable to boot off the recovery partition as I want to restore the factory OS.
Is it possible that the factory os key is still in recovery drive? (I bought windows 10 pro after 2 years on windows home edition and I didn't know you can just upgrade using the key)

Hi:
Unfortunately, you won't be able to use the recovery partition.
What you can do is to use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook. On some models, it even restores the recovery partition. I don't know if it will on your model notebook.
Here is an info link for how to use the cloud recovery tool.

You're very welcome.
The W10 product key is in the BIOS.
You don't need it to install W10.
You can install the free showkey plus utility from the Microsoft Store and it will show you the W10 OEM product key and the version of windows the key is good for.
You won't need it, but it is nice to know sometimes.
