The thing is if i use disk management software, it won't allow me to make my desired partition size, if i make partition during Windows installation then i will have to lose my OS and i have read on support forum if i clean install OS, i would lose recovery software and contents of recovery partition would be visible and they can't be reinstalled .

So i am still reluctant to do a clean install because i don't really want to lose recovery options but don't really care about OS.

If you're trying to shrink the C partition and are not able to reduce it past a certain point, this is often due to locked file - try disabling windows system restore for the C partition, reboot and then temporarily disable the Page File.

Hopefully you will now be able to shrink the partition to the size you require - once done, re-enable system restore and the page file.

HI.

I would use the recovery but as you say you want to partition the drives I leave how, when you make the Instlación and the first step asks you for the password you say no and when terminre installation to go the key in the bios you will have Windows 10 enabled .

Regards.

I have another Question, which is actullay kind of bugging me, if i clean install Windows 10 will i still have HP recovery partition and software? like can i reinstall same software? Windows Activation is not the problem because it activates itself when i signin because it is registered against my email I.D.
Almost every software/driver is available on support forum including HP Recovery Manager Update but i am not sure if this will be same like it is now( like i can reinstall any software/drivers that were bundled)  Because i have read on different forums people losing their recovery partitions after windows 10 update.
