Hi,

I am on F13 BIOS and set the FAN on "always enable". When i play Diablo II which runs fairly on this machine, the device gets really hot and gets 90°C, this is obvioulsy too hot and the surface gets unconfortably too warm. The fan does not ramp up.Why? I also tried HP Command Center but nothing changes no matter which profile i set, even on Perfomance, The Fan does noit ramp up, and the temps go to the roof. This is unacceptable! What is the solution to this, i did not buy this product to have a low performance and not to stress it beacuse HP wants the device to stay calm.

Hello Rainbow23,

I have a fresh Win10 install with current updates. Your solution is already at place, but does not help. I am not able to control the fan.

All the mess started with F13 BIOS Update. Unfortunately i am not able to revert back to F12, although the driver page allows to download previous BIOS.

I made a recovery BIOS USB Stick but no BIOS Update is detected only new BIOS Update F13!

Is there a safe way to downgrade to F12?
