I might not understand exactly what happened --
It sounds like someone has perhaps "cracked open" the computer and possibly broken the screws and / or the hinge assembly in the process.
Unfortunately, once the case is broken or destroyed, it should be replaced with a new body.
If the case is not broken and it was opened carefully without damaging the assembly,
If the only issue is the screws are lost,
Search for the screw kit part number in the service manual and purchase a new set of screws.
Do not seal the computer case with glue of any kind.
Why?
Aside from the unfortunate result of never being able to open the case again, if the battery were to need attention due to bloating, gluing the case shut might result in a catastrophic failure of the case and destruction of at least the computer components. Injury is possible as is damage to other property.
What to do?
If you have the skill to do so, consider rebuilding the broken parts.
Depending on the type and extent of damage, home repair might be easy, difficult, or not worth the cost and effort.

What else?
If you do not have the skill to attempt repairs on your own,
Take the computer to a competent computer repair technician and ask about options.
Make sure -- if the computer still works at all -- that you back up your important files and other data to a location outside (away from) the local computer.
