Erico, Tried using the 4-in-1 USB key and in instance 1 it states it is unsupported. In instance 2 and 3 when powering on and holding the windows and b key for 3 seconds, nothing happens. When powering on holding down the 4 arrows for the 3 seconds, nothing happens. The caps and num lock just continue to blink twice pause then blink twice.

Is this with the replaced systemboard or the original unit?
Have you read the HP PC Diagnostics key user Word document yet? Look at page 14.
According to the README_ReStart.txt file in the field folder, the dv6 notebook is supported.

Erico, No joy on the original Mainboard. It show an error of a bad CPU even though I tried all 4 that I have here. Sending back the purchased Mainboard and CPU as they will not work on my Laptop. Thank you for your attempt to help, it's much appreciated.
