How to reset the local admin password without admin rights

Hi there,

I am unable to run certain applications on my laptop without the admin password.  Appreciate any advice on how to reset local admin password.

You have to already KNOW the password in order to reset it -- and resetting it is not going to fix the problem you have.

If you are having to enter an admin password to run applications, then your Windows account is setup wrong -- and the only way I know to fix that is to create a new account, one that has admin rights.  But to do that, your existing account must also have Admin rights.
