Microsoft Windows 11

Hello All,

When I got my laptop new I had the update to wins 11 24h2 done.

Things went bad on the laptop including graphics problems.

The shop that sold me the HP replaced my laptop.

The problem may have been the AMD driver so the right one was installed on the 2nd laptop.

This was working fine for a short while.

But then the update on 24H2 came around and this sent it back to a bad state.

Poor graphics, mouse not operating well, click on a tab it opens two tabs.

Open any program it opens 2. Wi-Fi not reliable. Poor functioning of MS Defender.

I was told to bring it back for a hard re-install back to Wins 11 (assuming with 23H2).

Do you know if HP may have something set up where I can roll back?

Because the usual MS Wins 11 rollback as you know was good for only 10 days.

Regards.

Thanks for your reply. it was informative.

From what I came to know from a tech expert it requires a re-install of win11 to go back to 23h2.

Provided the re-seller has the download available on a flash drive.

Otherwise, it's what the re-seller has available for win11 then you update it to 23h2.

Regards.
