Mini 311 netbook

I have a HP mini 311 netbook and I had a new driver put in I used a new memory card from my old computer and you see the power light the cord the power cord light comes on when you plug it in so it has power when you hit power computer turns on and you have the Wi-Fi is lit up orange and sometimes the caps lock light is on and sometimes it goes off after I feel like I'm running bios I just can't see my screen and it won't it won't cast to the HDMI external for some reason I can't get it to toggle over there help

Technically, you can't actually substitute an external monitor for the built-in screen because the drivers for that won't be loaded until Windows is loaded.  IF you can live with a blank screen until the Windows login comes up, it might work -- but that will leave you in the dark on all reboots.
