Microsoft Windows 11

The battery in my laptop is the original and is three years old or so and it typically is always plugged in to be fully charged.  Is there a way to easily test the battery without removing it to see if it is good?  I've recently had a few issues when I have tried using the laptop via the battery.  If I find that I need new battery, is it a reasonably easy DIY job?

Thank you.

Hi @LenSoko

When you turn on the laptop press the F2 key several times, it will go into diagnostics and you can select the battery there. Changing the battery is easy according to user experience, if you have opened other laptops you should not have any problems changing it.

This is the link to the service manual on how to open the laptop

Thank you.  I was able to get to the battery self test and it showed that the battery was okay.
