How to tell year of manufacture with serial number

I don't know how to decipher the year of manufacture by serial number ...I know the serial number but can someone tell me for sure what year it is if I give you the serial number?

Look at the serial number of your PC.

The 4th, 5th and 6th characters will always be numbers.

The 4th = the year of manufacture (0 - 9).

The 5th and 6th = the week of manufacture (01 - 52).

For example, if the 4th, 5th and 6th characters of the serial number are 123, then your PC was manufactured during the 23rd week of 1991, 2001, 2011 or 2021.

You will have to have some kind of idea of when you bought the PC or what model processor it comes with so you can narrow down the year to the type of processor that existed at the time.
