After a recent factory reset, I cannot update bios or any driver using HP support as before because I'm no longer supported. How am I supposed to keep my laptop up to date? why won't you let me get all the updates I had before reset. the ones I had when I was supported? I got updates for almost 4 years!! how to solve this problem?
My product number is Y5U12EA#A2N

Hi:
You can download the latest drivers HP has for your notebook from the support page at the link below.
HP Notebook - 15-ay106nx Software and Driver Downloads | HP® Customer Support
There would not be anything newer than those.
HP does not release updated drivers in perpetuity for any notebook.
Usually no more than 3 years after the model was introduced to market.

Thank you for the clarification. This is the same page from which I downloaded bios and they say it's for supported models .when I ran the file, the update option was grayed out.
AMD also says software incompatible, something like that.
Earlier this year, I got a bios update unexpectedly, checked support website and it stated that it was to fix some security vulnerability.

You're very welcome.
I believe that others have may had the same issue where BIOS vF.49 will not install.
I would have no idea why you can't update the BIOS.
Others had no problem...
Did you try any of the previous versions F.48, F.47...?

The graphics driver...From what I can tell this would be the one that is applicable to your notebook:

There's only one option for me under bios updates which is F.49.
looking at system info, windows got Insyde F.52, 3 /15/ 2022 , is it because the windows opted for a newer version?
As for the AMD windows opted for 22.19.136.513 Rev.A Sep21, 2017
Itel high definition 25.20.100 6518 Rev.A Feb 15, 2019
How to choose from the other lists?
