Microsoft Windows 11

i bought this HP computer which comes with factory installed Windows 11 Home. I need help to upgrade it to Windows 11 Pro which should be free because I have another computer with Windows 10 Pro and no longer in use.

How do I apply my existing Windows 10 Pro license from unused computer to my new Windows 11 Home Computer to get Windows 11 Pro free upgrade for Windows 10 Pro?

Hi:

You are not allowed to transfer a Windows OEM license from one PC to another.

I have attached the Microsoft Windows software licensing terms below.

Sorry I have done what you said is illegal with help from official Microsoft tech support.
my Pro is retail

my Home is OEM
Otherwise this is discouraging end users who have no income generating use of Pro versions other than self learning without affording formal training

Then you should have specified that you had a retail Windows Pro license in the first place, and I would have told you how to transfer it to another PC.

I read many posts similar to yours from other forum members who mistakenly believe they can transfer an OEM Windows operating system from one PC to another, and assumed you were one of the many based on the way you worded your question.
