I had problems booting my pc back up after windows update. My windows Recovery manager was gone. Seems as if ms was in charge of my system and not me. Well I found out how true that is when my Wmic was taken control of. So I have unplugged my pc removed battery but somehow my system still was transmitting info through my router. This is crazy! Could someone help or explain?

What you're saying makes no sense.  If you unplug a laptop and remove the battery -- the laptop is DEAD!  And, in that state, it can not transmit anything to anyone. Period.

An unpowered laptop can not transmit anything -- simply not possible.  

 

If you want us to believe the impossible, you have to provide us the so-called proof you have.

So my modem log is wrong huh?  I  don't come on this site to be insulted.  I come on here to get support. So if you have no knowledge of this , then please don't comment!

I'm sorry you felt offended -- it was not my intent to insult you.  We see posts every day from other folks claiming utterly fantastic things and never do they provide any details or proof.

 

I will admit that since you have the logs, SOMETHING must be happening, and I was wrong to doubt you.  But -- as I've never run across this in decades of computing, I still am mystified now how a laptop, that is powered down, can do this.
