HP Recommended

Around 2010 I was gifted an hp 2000 notebook, specifically the version with the amd e2-1800 cpu. As I used it throughout the years I accidentally discovered it was dualbooted with another os with hp branding. You would boot into it by pressing an fn key (I think it was fn7 but I'm not sure) while the pc was closed. This second os was primarily used to surf the web and nothing else, or at least back then I couldn't find how to do something else with it. Today finding the laptop again sparked my curiousity for what this os was, and searching online I couldn't find anything. It had a grayish interface if that can help spark some memories. Sadly the laptop's graphics have completely died and it's unbootable, it also has no hard drive but I distinctly remember this second os persisting no matter how many times I had installed windows 7 fresh. If anyone knows what this os was it would be greatly appreciated!
