You're very welcome.
The last BIOS update HP released for your notebook was F.1D.
If you don't have an older version of the BIOS installed, you will need to reinstall Windows 7 because the update was only written to be run on Windows 7.
I have no idea what will happen if you try and update the BIOS running an unsupported operating system.
The consequences could be disastrous and irrepairable.

The Windows Mobile Device software is only needed for Windows Vista and Windows 7.
