My Hp pavilion x360 13-a010dx just wouldn’t start up ! There’s power in it but the screen remains black/blank !
I’ve tried pressing the power button for 2 minutes etc but still no joy !
It has a built in battery so I can’t do the battery out in thing. Likewise clearing the drives.
Could you possibly suggest any thing else I could do before I take it in to a technician which will cost me money?
kindly help 🙏🏾

Some batteries are not so easy to get to, on some devices. However, it should be removable/replaceable. Unless it is under warranty, then you should contact the manufacturer first.
Try the following and see if it will turn on...
1. Unplug your charger cord.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Press and hold the "Power" button for 30 seconds.
4. Now plug back in the power/charger cord.
5. Now put the battery back in.
If this doesn't help, then test the power cord to see if it is good. Either try your cord in another device, or try another devices cord in your laptop. You may also want to try charging it when the device is off, rather than on. If it works then, the cord is probably the issue.
Should that not be the problem, then check the battery to see if it needs replacing.
If you do not feel comfortable doing this yourself, then I would try a local tech.

What did the technician do exactly?
I have a Pavillion (non-removeable battery) and the pc will not boot. There is a blink red light at the side where power adaptor plug is inserted. I have tried the "15sec press hold power button" trick, but that did not work. The screen remains blank. There is no fan or hdd noise.

I replaced the battery, allowed it to charge overnight, and the laptop still does not boot.
The LED at the AC adaptor port is a slowly blinking red light. The manuals don't describe what that means!
The user manual "HP Pavilion Power 15 Laptop PC, * Model numbers: 15-cb000 – 15-cb099, Maintenance and Service Guide" ..mentions yet another possibility: the Power button board.
Would that part be the culprit?
And I really need someone at HP to tell me what the "slow blinking red light" means that the documentation does not.
