Hp Stream Laptop 14-ax0xx Can not detect Disk while installing Windows 10 x64.

Hellow everybody. I am trying to install Windows 10 x64 on  Hp-14-ax0xx laptop but can not find the disk due to missing driver i suppose. I went to support for this model but could not find any driver.The Disk is  a EMMC Sandisk 4064.

Any help would be very appreciated,

Hi:

The eMMC flash drive might be bad.

Did you run the F2 hardware diagostics check on the hard drive?

If everything passes, use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.  You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.

You can download the software from the Microsoft Store.

If you have to use the utility on another PC, you will need to enter your notebook's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed to make the recovery media.

I did all this process with the System Recovery Media and i got a message that says " This Computer is not supported by the System Recovery Media, You will not be able to continue to recover this system with these media". B

Error :

0100-B2BD-8423

0122-0-1.

Is there any other way to just find the driver of the Disk and load it during windows 10 Instalation?

By the way i did run a quick test using F2 Diagnostics and it passed.

You're very welcome.

Sorry, you got that error.

Windows 10 should not be needing any drivers to find the disk and there are no drivers you can load to find it.

You can clean install W10 for free by making a bootable USB flash drive with the media creation tool from the link below.

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

When you get to the part of the installation that asks, 'Where do you want to install Windows, delete every partition on the hard drive, leaving just one partition of unallocated space.

Click Next, and W10 should install.

After W10 has completed installing you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.

You may want to try cleaning the disk using the Diskpart utility during the W10 installation process where W10 can't find the drive.

• 1. From inside Windows Setup, press Shift+F10 to open a command prompt window.
• 2. Type Diskpart and enter.
• 3. Type list disk (look for your disk number, check the size of the disk)
• 4. Type select disk <disk number>. example: select disk0 (select the disk you want to format)
• 5. Type clean
• 6. Type convert gpt  (optional)
• 7. Close the command prompt window.
