Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Computer has no display aftered turned on. The keyboard is reacting normally with keyboard led lights controlled by F5, mute light controlled by F6 and capslock light reacting. Also heard notification sound in some occasions. Seems like the issue is only with the display.

 

My computer has been in a very bad condition for some time. The battery has been aged and everytime I turn on the laptop the battery issue warning page pops up. The screen has been detached from the laptop framework for a long time and cracked, so that I turned off the touch screen controller so that it wouldn't interrupt mouse input. I wouldn't be surprised if the issue is caused by either of them.

 

Already tried hard reset and BIOS reset for several times, don't work. Should I send the laptop to a maintenance shop? Any one near NY, 11201?
