Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello

I just bough a 17-by-1003 ca laptop ( windows10 64bit) for my girlfriend.

I would like to create a recovery media for her laptop. But I do not find the Recovery manager.

Is there anyone that could help me find it on my computer. Or do I have to donwload it from the HP Site ? If so here can i find it .

Best regards

G.

Hi:

It's been about a year or so since HP quit including the recovery manager to create recovery media.

Now you use the cloud recovery client utility to create bootable USB recovery media.

Here is an info link for how to do that.  You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive for this purpose.
