@cguerra93, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Laptop!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Environment Letting Issue: Leaving the laptop in a car overnight can expose it to extreme temperatures, either hot or cold, which can affect its functionality. Ensure the laptop is at room temperature before further troubleshooting.

Hard Reset:

  • Disconnect the laptop from any external devices and unplug the charger.
  • Remove the battery if it's removable.
  • Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds.
  • Reinsert the battery and plug the charger back in, then try turning it on.

Check for Display Issues:

  • Connect your laptop to an external monitor to determine if the issue is specifically with the display.
  • This can help identify if the laptop itself is functioning but the built-in screen is not working.

Battery Check:

  • Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the charger and check if any indicator lights come on, suggesting it's charging.
  • If the laptop powers on without the battery, but not with it, the battery might need replacing.

Power Source and Adapter:

  • Verify that the charger and power outlet are working correctly.
  • Try using a different charger if available.

Inspect the Device:

  • Check for any visible damage on the laptop, such as screen cracks or port damages that may have resulted overnight.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
