Hp notebook 1000 pc
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a hp notebook 1000 pc & I want to install window 10 on it with bootable USB, everything seems ok until I select C drive to install window on it. I am getting this error when I press next button "windows can't be installed on this drive. the computer hardware may not support booting to this disk". I tried to troubleshoot the problem, everyone suggesting to enable ACHI mode, but I can't find this advance option in my notebook, please help me out someone I am in trouble.

@MrWasimAbbasi Peace be unto you! There are certain options within the BIOS that are locked by HP to ensure important settings that would render the device unstable if changed are secured, that said, how is the reset attempted, did you make use of the HP Recovery partition (F11) or did you use the HP recovery media?

If you don't have an HP Recovery media and have attempted reset using the windows troubleshooter or a retail copy of windows, you'll need to order a recovery media: Click here for steps. or you may also attempt to download the same using the steps on this link: click here

For details on how to perform a successful reset: click here
