Hello, I’ve had my laptop for over a year which is a Hp pavilion gaming laptop 15-cx0xxx, and recently when I unplug my laptop it instantly dies, I’ve been having the error primary (internal) battery (601) show up
and went through system diagnostics and this is what showed up when I used system tests.
I don’t know what to do, do I need to replace my battery? And if so, where can I get a battery replacement?

Hi:
Run the failure code through the online diagnostics tool at the link below...
https://hpcsgen.hpcloud.hp.com/eas-portal/
Your sreenshot seems to indicate the primary battery has failed and needs to be replaced.
Below is the link to the parts list for your notebook.

The battery is part number L08855-856.
Unfortunately, it seems the part is on back order on the HP parts store.
Here is the link to the service manual where you can find the battery removal and replacement procedure.

There are some sellers on eBay that claim to have the genuine part for sale.
