Hi @Ranvir2,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

It sounds like you're in a difficult situation with your HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop, as the BIOS update is stuck at 100%. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue:

Steps to Resolve Stuck BIOS Update:

Wait a While:

  • Sometimes, BIOS updates can take a significant amount of time to complete. If it hasn't been too long, give it more time to see if it finishes on its own.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • If the update has been stuck for an extended period, you may need to perform a hard reset:
    • Hold down the power button until the laptop powers off.
    • Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery (if removable).
    • Press and hold the power button for 15-30 seconds to discharge any residual power.
    • Reconnect the power adapter and battery, then try powering on the laptop.

Clear CMOS/BIOS Settings:

  • Clearing the CMOS can help reset the BIOS settings:
    • Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery.
    • Open the laptop's bottom panel (refer to the service manual for instructions) to access the CMOS battery.
    • Carefully remove the CMOS battery for about 5-10 minutes, then reinsert it.
    • Reassemble the laptop, reconnect the power adapter and battery, and try powering on the laptop.

Retry BIOS Recovery:

  • If the laptop still doesn't start up properly, you may need to attempt the BIOS recovery process again:
    • Ensure the BIOS recovery flash drive is properly created and inserted into the laptop.
    • Disconnect the power adapter and remove the battery (if removable).
    • Hold down the Windows + B keys, then reconnect the power adapter (and battery if necessary).
    • While holding the Windows + B keys, press the power button and hold it for about 2-3 seconds, then release the power button (but keep holding the Windows + B keys).
    • Wait for the BIOS recovery process to start. If the screen stays blank, try holding the keys for a bit longer.

If none of the above steps work, it's possible that the BIOS is severely corrupted, Contact HP Phone Support for further assistance.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
