Hi @DjafarTJ ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're encountering the "BOOTMGR IS MISSING" error when trying to access the HP Recovery Manager by pressing F11, it indicates that the boot manager file required for Windows to start is either missing or corrupted. This error can occur due to various reasons, such as a damaged boot configuration, corrupt system files, or changes made to the boot order.
Here are some steps you can take to address the "BOOTMGR IS MISSING" error and restore your HP Pavilion P6751ru Desktop PC to its factory settings with Windows 7:
Create a Windows 7 Installation Media: If your computer originally came with Windows 7 and you want to restore it to its factory settings, you might need a Windows 7 installation disc or USB drive. If you don't have one, you can create a bootable USB drive using a Windows 7 ISO file.
Boot from the Installation Media: Insert the Windows 7 installation disc or USB drive into your computer and restart it. Enter the BIOS or boot menu (usually by pressing F2, F10, ESC, or DEL during startup) to change the boot order so that your computer boots from the installation media.
Repair the Boot Configuration: Once the Windows 7 installation screen appears, choose the "Repair your computer" option instead of installing Windows. This will take you to the System Recovery Options menu.
Use Startup Repair: From the System Recovery Options menu, select "Startup Repair" and let Windows attempt to repair the boot configuration automatically. Follow the prompts and allow the process to complete.
Restore from System Image: If you previously created a system image backup of your Windows 7 installation, you can use it to restore your computer to its factory settings. Select the "System Image Recovery" option from the System Recovery Options menu and follow the on-screen instructions.
Reinstall Windows 7: If none of the above methods work, you may need to perform a clean installation of Windows 7 using the installation media. Follow the prompts to install Windows 7 on your computer, formatting the existing partitions if necessary.
Recovery from HP Recovery Discs: If your HP Pavilion P6751ru Desktop PC came with recovery discs from HP, you can use them to restore your computer to its factory settings. Insert the recovery discs and follow the on-screen instructions to initiate the recovery process.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
