Hi, about 2 or so years ago my grandma bought my and my cousin an HP laptop and that are 100% the same except for the color of the body. I made my USB recovery from my laptop but my cousin has not. If I had to use the USB recovery can I use the one from my laptop?

Yes. You can use the Media created on your laptop on his laptop as well as your laptop. Once you get his laptop running again I would make his also so you both have one.

If they are the same model number both can use the same Recovery Media.
