Hello, I need help with the latest Hp Assistant. I am unable to optimised as well as diagnostics my pc thru' Hp Support Assistant. I was able to do this before with the older version.

In the previous version i.e 9.6.605.0 I used to get updates for my pc, but ever since I upgraded my BIOS, Hp Assistant too got updated. I no longer see any updates in the update section neither can perform fixes & Diagnostics in Hp Support assistant. Please help me with this issue.

Secondly, I also wanted to know if I reset my pc without downgrading my bios to the default version would it cause errors? Thank you.

Hi @ConP - Typically you can't downgrade your BIOS once it's upgraded. But can you share bit more about the updates and Fixes and Diags. ? Are they not opening? If they are opening what are you seeing? Can you attach screesnshots? Have you tried re-installing HPSA: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html

Are you sure I can't even do a rollback? The BIOS update makes my pc laggy. I have much difficulty while working with even basic application eg. Word. Even when connected to the adapter the battery shows orange instead of white, ever since I updated.

I have the latest Hp Support Assistant on my pc. I am unable to launch any application from fixes and diagnostics. Even the updates from Hp Assistant show as zero.

Please if there is a way to downgrade it would be very much appreciated.

Just wanted you to know I have AMD processor.

Hi @ConP - I would recommend you get your BIOS updated to latest from here: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers and see if that resolves your laggy issues...
