Hi @Agavi,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are having an issue resetting the tablet to the factory settings.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details.

  • Why are you doing a reset?
  • What is the exact issue you are facing with the tablet?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the Tablet?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?

If you cannot restart the HP Slate7 VoiceTab since it is blocked and the previous method does not work, we must proceed to turn it off and turn it on again using the physical buttons.

To force a restart on your Slate7 VoiceTab press and hold the power button (or unlock button) for at least 8 seconds until the HP or Android logo appears on the screen and release the button while it turns on again.

If the device still does not respond and you cannot restart it, it is possible that it is low on enough battery, in that case connect the Slate7 VoiceTab to its charger and try the procedure again.

If it continues without responding and does not turn on or has entered a loop, it is possible that some internal component such as the motherboard, memory, screen, or even the power button has been damaged so you will have to repair it

You may have to contact the nearest service center and get it checked.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
