I have tried every possible thing i can do at last i called the hp service they told me that a technician will come with 5 working days and today i called the technician assigned to know the status and he said that a new motherboard is ordered and is not recieved till now . As soon as that is received we will replace it under warranty.

I guess that's the only thing hp can do 🤷

Sorry to hear 😞

I tried many things, maybe some combination of them worked. But I don't want to try again to cofirm 🙂

I've also found previos versions of BIOS to make bootable USB-flash. Download here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/victus-by-hp-16.1-inch-gaming-laptop-pc-1... (in revision history block)

While doing my Win+B method I had USB with older BIOS sticked in USB port. Maybe it helped somehow. But I'm quite sure, that BIOS wasn't restored from USB drive.

Ok we all have tried

Win+B and Win+V till something shows up method while pressing power button for 2-3sec and also power plug on

Pressing escape Continues as well as F 10 key but really that black screen with negligible dim light while power button not going away.

If something will shows up like bios or like that then we can proceed further to reinstalling and all but nah...

Help Us HP. Thanks for wrong update 😞

Hi@Sankket12,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Don't worry I'll try to help you out.

We reviewed your post and I understand that the  Notebook is not Powering ON,

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you follow the below steps and check if it helps

Do you see a light at the place where the charger connects to the laptop? If yes then it indicates that the charger is all fine.

I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix:

  • Remove the battery out. If the battery is integrated and does not have a latch to release it then leave the battery inside the laptop.
  • Disconnected AC adapter from the laptop.
  • Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the battery and plug the AC adapter.

F6 + Power Button

  • CMOS Rest ( combination of windows button and letter 'V' then push the power button ones and release the windows and letter 'V' after 5sec

If the laptop does not power on then please continue with the below steps:

  • Disconnect the charger and remove the battery out.
  • Connect only the battery and check if the laptop powers on.
  • Likewise, remove the battery out (if removal battery ) and connect only the charger and check if that helps.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hi@Sankket12,

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue, and in order to fix this issue,  your computer needs to be serviced.  As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now,

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest youContact HPin your region regarding the service options for your computer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!

I also have the same situation as you. Perhaps HP made an error BIOS boot file in version F.10 Rev.A, so when you install the machine does not boot up and when we create a bootable USB from this file, it also gives the same error.
My way is to click on the older version section and download the BIOS file F.09 Rev.A and create a bootable USB from another computer.

Link download F.09 Rev.A

Then I turned off the computer.
Plug the power source into the computer.
Plug the newly created USB Boot into any USB port.
Press and hold Windows + B button.
Press the power button to light up and release while still hold Windows key + B. In about 10 seconds, the screen light will light up and the machine will automatically restore Bios in about 15 minutes to complete. I just finished and posted this tutorial for you guys. Hope to help you!
Hopefully HP will be more careful in future BIOS updates. Horrible I just received this computer yesterday afternoon.
