If your notebook came with Windows preloaded, you can use HP Cloud Recovery tool to restore the storage drive to a factory state. Click this link for how to use the recovery tool. It includes the recovery software download link.

If your notebook still runs Windows, run the recovery tool to create a bootable recovery usb drive.
