One common cause of the 3F0 error is a failure of the storage drive. If that is a case, BIOS update does not solve the problem.

 

Turn on the notebook and immediately tap the F2 key for hard drive diagnostic test. You need to do SMART check and long (extended) DST test. 

 

Please post back the test result with the exact model number or product number (ProdID) of your notebook. The info is on the bottom cover of your device.
