Product: Elitebook 840 G5
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I am using Laptop (Elitebook 840 G5) i basically lock my pc with fingerprint and password, But in a few days i was having a problem of login it says Enter Password............but i dont remember my password (DESKTOP-LJPVHT2\user) as it is locked on HP SURE SMART please i need help on how to recover my password.

We have no way from here to recovery your password.

 

I'm really sorry that we can not help you with this, but Community policy prohibits us from assisting you in any way with bypassing or resetting passwords.

For BIOS or power-on password resets, read this HP thread: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06368824.

If you are not prepared to spend the money to get HP to replace the motherboard for BIOS password resets, you could take the PC to a local repair facility to see if they can do it for you -- but we are unable to assist in that.

For Admin password resets, you have to contact your regional HP Customer Support location directly for assistance.
