Microsoft Windows 11

I am trying to get factory image restore from the cloud. I downloaded and installed the HP Cloud Recovery Tool app. I followed all the steps properly. I am downloading the restore image for 4PA12PA#ABG. This is a valid product. Download is successful. Recovery media attempt failed. Error 0xC00405. There is nothing I can do. I need HP to fix the recovery media attempt.  Trying to create a boot disc after reinstalling Win 11.  Thank you

Hi:

Try a different brand/model 32 GB USB flash drive.

I had no problem at all creating the recovery media with the cloud recovery tool using your PC's product number of 4PA12PA#ABG.

I used a PNY brand 32 GB USB 3.0 flash drive.

Thank you Paul.  I purchased another USB drive, though not the type you suggested...a Scan Disk.  Big success!

Once again, thank you.

You're very welcome.

Glad you were able to create the recovery media with a different USB flash drive.

Cheers,

Paul
