Product: hp probook 450 G2

the hard drive isn't damagefd and passes all tests It is completely wiped I need an operating system

but downloading an operating system online and putting it on an usb drive and putting it in the pc doesn't work

Hi:

 

From the specs, it appears the 450 G2 came with W8.1 Pro.

Download the W8.1 Pro 64 bit ISO file from the link below.

 

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows8ISO

 

Then use the Microsoft tool that I zipped up and attached below that you will need to transfer the ISO file to a DVD or USB flash drive, so that it is bootable.

 

After W8.1 installs, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.

I tried this I put both on a USB stick and put them in the PC but it didn't work it said something about a media cable
