Hi:
Unfortunately, no one can be of assistance because your notebook came with FreeDOS from HP, which means the notebook did not come with a Windows product key.

You will have to buy a new license/product key for W10, since Microsoft has closed the loophole for activating W10 with a W7, W8 or W8.1 product key.

It's official: No more free Windows 10 upgrades | ZDNET
If you had previously upgraded the notebook to W10 and it was activated, you can try to reinstall W10 and do these two things:
1. When you get past the Install Now screen, you will be asked to select the version of W10 you upgraded to previously (Home, Home Single Language or Pro).
Then you will be asked to enter a product key.
2. Select the 'I don't have a product key' option and hopefully W10 will install and then activate after you are connected to the internet, since the Microsoft activation servers should have a record of your PC having been previously upgraded to W10.
