I can't install the Windows 10 64bit operating system on my computer.

Hello, please I have a problem with my HP EliteBook 840 G5 when I try to install Windows 10 64bit on my computer, I display this error message ''BootDevice Not Found please install an operating system on your hard disk. Hard Disk - (3F0) "'' and yet I inserted a USB key where the windows 10 64bit operating system is booted.

I think it is the BIOS that is misconfigured more precisely the boot order attached the photos of my BIOS that I took. Thank you in advance for the solutions.

If you haven't tried the F9 boot option menu, try this.

Turn on the notebook and immediately tap the F9 key rapidly for boot options menu. Select USB flash drive/USB hard drive and click the Enter key to boot into the USB drive.

When I press F9 I select the USB key but I am redirected to the menu immediately… and when I press F11 I receive the message sir the third picture.

Here are a couple of suggestions.

Change the setting from 'Legacy Support Disable Secure Boot Enable' to 'Legacy Support Diable Secure Boot Disable' and try to boot from F9.

Keep Secure Boot disabled. Run from F9 again and select 'Boot from File.' Is a file system displayed that looks like a huge string of characters and numbers? If so, click it and post the screenshot.

If you don't see a file system, your usb drive may not contain working boot files, or something is wrong with the usb drive. How did you create the Windows installation usb drive? Is it a usb 2.0 drive? What is its size?

Good evening, the character string was displayed when I clicked on "Boot from File" as you can see on the first capture and when I click on the character string it shows what is on the second capture and when I click on "bootmgr.efi" it sends me back to the start menu. I use a 32GB USB key version 2.0, I created a bootable USB drive thanks to the power iso software.

Instead of clicking bootmgr.efi, click efi -> boot -> bootx64.efi to see if you can manually boot into the usb drive.

When I click on "bootia32.efi" it always takes me back to the start menu, I notice that maybe the windows 10 that contains my key is 32 bit or I'm wrong because I see bootia32.efi instead of bootx64.efi. And if this is the case, can it be the reason for concern? Should I get a Windows 10 64 bit system?

You said you used  PowerISO software to mount a Win10 ISO file on a usb drive.

According to this article, a Win10 ISO includes both bootx64.efi and bootia32.efi but you saw only bootia32.efi. Perhaps, your installation usb drive is missing some files or has corrupted files.

I strongly suggest you create a bootable installation usb with Microsoft Media Creation Tool and try again.

Also, go to F10 BIOS setup -> Advanced -> Boot Options and Make sure that USB Boot is enabled.
