It recently rained in my area and I forgot to close my windows. I always keep it open for the wind to pass by, but it started pouring rain into my room. Like I said, I forgot to close the windows, and my desk had gotten wet along with my laptop.
I didn't notice it at first. I opened my laptop like usual but whenever I would use it, it would turn off after a few minutes then reboot. Sometimes, it would turn off completely and I couldn't start it anymore. That's when I noticed it had gotten wet. I wiped everything and opened the back case of the laptop. Fortunately nothing in the motherboard had gotten wet, but it was really dusty so I decided to clean it as well.
For some time it worked just fine. But then after a few times, the letter 's' would be repeatedly typed non-stop and it made it impossible to type or even do anything as it would always type in anything with a search bar. I decided to uninstall the keyboard driver to disable the built-in keyboard, considering that I used an external keyboard. But now, I think because of that, it affected the power button of the built-in keyboard. I can't get it to start anymore.
Just now, I decided to open the back case to force open the laptop by doing the methods online, taking out the battery then charging it. But it didn't work. I put the battery back, but I'm back to square one. How do I get my laptop to start working again without a power button. As much as possible, I'd like to avoid getting it repaired.
My laptop is model 14m-dw0013dx if that's any help.

What you want to avoid has become a necessity -- as water damage is the worst thing you can do to a laptop.
It will need to be completely disassembled to check for any internal shorts or other damage -- and since this is "accidental damage", even if the warranty has not expired, this is excluded from coveragte.
There is no other course of action -- as you have damaged it by letting it get wet.
